If not careful the cowrie shell can easily be lost. Within the first few minutes I almost lost mine because it fall off the hoop clasp upon opening it super easy and I was not expecting that so it almost fell down the drain. At that price point I wish it was designed more securely

Because the charm is detachable, it can come off while the hoop is open. We understand that this was unexpected, and based on your feedback, we’ve updated our product copy to make this feature clearer to customers.

I have ordered the cowrie as both the cowrie shells and in all gold. The quality does not disappoint. I receive lots of compliments especially when I wear the gold ones (yes, purchased in pairs) as earrings and the shell as hair jewelry in my French braids. I plan to get the cowrie with the gold cuff as a pendant!!! EXCITED!!!!!
