Versatility has always been essential when it comes to my natural hair. Browsing Pinterest for style inspiration has long been one of my favorite pastimes. One day, while scrolling, an image stopped me in my tracks โ a striking ad featuring a handsome brother with locs crowned in radiant gold. I was instantly captivated. The gleam of his accessories reminded me of all the times Iโd dealt with fading or tarnished hair jewelry. Something about this felt different โ like the solution I didnโt know Iโd been waiting for.

I didnโt want to risk having something this beautiful and delicate shipped โ I needed to see and touch the pieces in person. So when my daughter told me she and her best friend were headed to NYC in May 2025 to celebrate her birthday, I saw my opportunity. I made it clear: Do not come back home without my jewelry.
